The Dalesphotos
 School of Photography

Dalesphotos is run by Margaret & Rod Smith, and is based in the village of Horton in Ribblesdale at the heart of the famous 'Three Peaks' of the Yorkshire Dales.

We offer a comprehensive range of training courses and events which cover all aspects of digital photography, from getting to know your camera to advanced computer manipulation. Our classes cater for photographers of all ages and abilities, and beginners are especially welcome.

Apart from organised courses and events we also offer Personal Tuition. This is a very flexible service, anything from a 2 hour session to a full day (or more!) on any aspect of digital photography. Or why not book a day for someone else as a gift?

ABOUT US

In a previous life we worked together as freelance photographers in Bradford for a number of years before moving to Horton in Ribblesdale. Since then we have taught Photography at Craven College in Skipton and Settle ('A' Level and City & Guilds), as well as adult classes (daytime and evening) at a number of venues around North Yorkshire. We have also undertaken a number of private training commissions.
