We are hoping to run a couple of one day Workshops in the late summer. Provisional details are:
"Starting in Digital Photography" Saturday, 16 August, 10am - 4pm. Price: £12
This is a full day introduction to digital cameras, suitable for people who are new to Digital Photography and have little or no prior knowledge. During the day you will learn about the main controls on your camera and how to use them to take better photographs, as well as how to download your pictures into the computer.
Many people find that their landscape photographs are disappointing and do not do justice to their subject. During the day you will learn about aspects of design and composition, as well as how to use your camera more effectively to take better landscape photographs.

Dales Countryside Museum
Once again this year we are running a series of one day courses sponsored by the Yorkshire Dales National Park on selected Sundays during the summer. There will be two courses, as follows:
"Introduction to Digital Cameras" Sundays 20 April, 18 May, 20 July and 17 August. Price £10
This course will cover the main controls and menus on diigital cameras, and how to use them effectively to take better pictures.
"Introduction to Digital Imaging" Sundays 15 June and 14 September. Price: £10
This course will cover downloading pictures to the computer and how to make simple enhancements and adjustments to them.
