This will be a course intended for those who are completely new to digital photography, or who have not had opportunity to use their cameras much and feel a bit rusty. The course will be very much 'hands-on' with lots of practice in finding the most useful camera settings and working out when to use them.You will cover the important controls of digital cameras with lots of help to take better photos and to get properly 'up and running' with your digital camera.

Those coming along to this course will already have a working knowledge of their camera operations and will have had some experience in working on their photographs using one of the Photoshop programmes.This will be a course with content tailored to suit the specific requirements of the participants. Emphasis will be on the practical aspects of taking photographs but computer manipulation will also be covered. Participants will work in an area of photography that is of particular interest to them and we will structure the sessions to give guidance and assistance every step of the way.
Digital SLR

A short course for people who have recently upgraded to a digital SLR camera either from film, or from digital compact. Camera settings and functions will be explained and explored to allow the confidence in camera handling that is essential to produce high quality results with (almost) every click of the shutter.
