DALESPHOTOS
Dalesphotos is run by Margaret & Rod Smith, and is based in the village of Horton in Ribblesdale at the heart of the famous 'Three Peaks' of the Yorkshire Dales.
We offer a comprehensive range of training courses and events which cover all aspects of digital photography, from getting to know your camera to advanced computer manipulation. They cater for photographers of all ages and abilities, and beginners are especially welcome.
Our 'Home Call' service is designed for people who would like us to visit their home or place of work to help with any problems relating to digital photography. Usually this is on a 'one-to-one' basis, or alternatively a small group could share the cost.
We are always willing to 'tailor-make' special courses for individuals or groups such as clubs and societies. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
ABOUT US
In a previous life we worked together as freelance photographers in Bradford for a number of years before moving to Horton in Ribblesdale. Since then we have taught Photography at Craven College in Skipton and Settle ('A' Level and City & Guilds), as well as adult classes (daytime and evening) at a number of venues around North Yorkshire. We have also undertaken a number of private training commissions.
